Wedding ceremonies are performed on Friday afternoons and must be scheduled in advance. Please fill out this form to request a date.
The Mayor performs wedding ceremonies for residents of the City of University Heights, as well as any surrounding cities. The ceremony is performed in Council Chambers at University Heights City Hall, 2300 Warrensville Center Road. The fee is $40.
On the day of the wedding, you must bring your marriage license from the Cuyahoga County Probate Court* (downtown Cleveland 216-443-8920). You are welcome to bring family and friends, and cameras or video cameras for photos.
* There is a $50 fee to purchase a license and only credit or debit cards will be accepted.
