MLK Day
January 20, 2025
City Hall will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, 2025 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, or MLK Day. The City of University Heights honors Dr. King’s Civil Rights leadership and legacy. We celebrate our country’s civil rights achievements and acknowledge the work that still needs to be done to achieve his dream.
Garbage and recycling pickup will be one day later than normal this week. For example, if your normal pick-up day is on a Monday, your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, and Tuesday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday.
